Working Principle:

Inks are usually made up of resin, emulsion, solvent, fillers, assistant. The most important component part is resin emulsion, the basic chemical property of the inks. 

1.Feeding System 

1) Storage the resin by liquid level meter, feeding resin by weighing and flow meter; 

2) Storage the solvent by liquid level meter, feeding by weighing and flow meter; 

3) Storage the powder by level meter, feeding by pneumatic conveyor, screw or pipe chain conveyor, through measuring bin by weighing meter to confirm the ratio;

4) Small quantity raw materials, such as assistants are fed by manual or other small quantity conveyor.

2.Production System 

1) Setting the production formula on the engineering controller or touch screen before producing; Feeding the resin, solvent and powder into the high speed mixing vessel by PLC controlling pumps and valves according to the production formula; PLC controls the frequency converter and ensure the dispersing speed which is set according to the formula to finish the slurry.

2) After finished slurry, opening the bottom valve by PLC, the slurry enters into the grinding mill machine by pump or flowing by itself. Liquid level meter in pipe will remind the PLC to open the mill’s diaphragm pump, starting to convey the slurry into the mill machine, make them to start work one by one, finish all the grinding through removable tanks among them. 

3) The slurry is discharging from mill machine and enters into the color mixing vessel, adding the colors and assistants by small quantity feeding system or manual, to finish the color modulation. 

4) After finished the color modulation, the finished product will be delivered into storage tank through filter system or starting to fill into containers directly. 

Remarks: 

a) About toning control, we always add the 80% of the color slurry (or color essence) according to the formula, and then slowly adjust until the color is satisfactory; 

b) Test rating: viscosity, fineness, shine, tonality, opacity, adhesive power; 

c) Long-term test index has whether can knot skin, precipitation, whether it will change color, whether polishing the primer after construction is qualified.
